Battery Analyzer is an engineering and technical marketing
consulting firm specializing in embedded system,
portable product and battery system development.
The staff at BNS Solutions has over 40 years of combined
experience in data acquisition, battery systems,
product design, and technical marketing. Working in
conjunction with their customers, they have produced a variety of products
including evaluation and demonstration systems, smart battery systems,
portable data acquisition/processing systems, embedded
industrial control,
PC based machine control, and more.
Together with their sister company, Differential Systems, they design,
build, and market products to aid in the development
of smart battery
systems and the products powered by them.
BNS Solutions also licenses IP for battery fuel gauge/charge control systems,
modeling, and IC demo/evaluation tools.
The Sim-bq simulates charge and discharge currents up to 2A for development of smart
battery systems. The Sim-bq connects directly to smart battery IC manufacturer's development/evaluation boards or your own circuitry.
The Sim-bq can work with the Differential Systems development software, TI's development and evaluation software, or your own software by connecting your own hardware communications lines
By passing a current through the sense resistor, the Sim-bq simulates actual charge and discharge current. Battery voltage and current can also be simulated, allowing design engineers the ability to quickly evaluate and develop complex communication, fuel gauge, and charging algorithms.
The PBA1000 connects directly to a Windows+ PC to help design engineers analyze and develop rechargeable battery systems. The PDA1000 can
charge or discharge cells at up to 10A and 17V. It can charge or discharge with specific waveform profiles, collect, log and graph data, and automatically perform cycle tests with built-in charge/discharge cutoff algorithms. With the PBA1000, design engineers can quickly and accurately develop the battery parameters critical to accurate fuel gauge and charge control algorithms. Battery pack life cycles can also be evaluated
The PBA1000 is the personal development tool that engineers have been wanting for years. Designed by battery engineers, for battery engineers.
